Animalympics Competition Prize-Giving at E17 Art House

Art Awards Presented by Catboy

Saturday saw the winners of our Animalympics art competition receive their prizes at E17 Art House Picture Framers and Gallery in Walthamstow. Children were given the opportunity to create pictures of their own fun Olympic games – for ANIMALS. Guinea Pig Roller-Blading, Hare Hurdles, and the Slow Race for snails were just a few of the fun sports that children from across Waltham Forest dreamt up.

All entrants received a small prize, and winners in each age category received gold, silver and bronze medals as well as bundles of art materials from Stoke Newington based Jackson’s Art Supplies, and printmaking workshop sessions with artist and E17 Art House co-owner Kirsten Schmidt.

Children will also get to take their artwork away, professionally framed by E17 Art House.
