Animalympics Children's Art Competition

Open to children aged 6-15 years, resident or attending a school in Waltham Forest. Entry is Free. Closing Date 30th November 2011. Download an Animalympics Entry Form HERE.

Entrants are required to draw, paint, or collage a picture of a fun Olympic sport for animals! Maximum size 50 x 40cm.

You can show your animals competing in a real Olympic sport or create a new sport for them.

Imagine Long-Jump for Kangaroos, frogs and flees, animals racing, the elephant gymnastics team, weight-lifting ants, or lizards stretching their tongues to catch the furthest fly!

Picture Show art exhibition at E17 Art House

We are excited to reveal the date for our film inspired-art show “PICTURE SHOW” in collaboration with McGuffins Film Society. Premiere evening will be Saturday 25th June 2011 7pm-10pm at E17 Art House. The Jazzoholics will be playing in the courtyard space outside, where drinks will be served as well as fantastic nibbles provided by Eat17 Walthamstow Village!

Over 20 Walthamstow and East London artists, designers and photographers were invited to illustrate a film of their choice. The result is a fantastic and varied exhibition.
